April 7th, 2009The band’s official website that is U2.com has announced the today confirmation that the U2 360 Degree Tour. The U2 360 Degree Tour opens in Barcelona at the famous Nou Camp Stadium. The U2 360 Degree Tour starts in Barcelona on the 30th June this year. The U2 360 Degree Tour is sponsored by the famous BlackBerry Company. The U2 360 Degree Tour happens to be the band’s first ever stadium album for a while. To be more specific this is the band’s first ever outing since they released the album entitled Vertigo and went on to the Vertigo Tour in the year 2005-06. This outing entitled the U2 360 Degree Tour aptly follows the release of their much acclaimed album, called the No Line on the Horizon.

U2 History
April 4th, 2009An advert at school can be hailed the primary reason for the coming together of U2. These were the early days of the band. Initially the band had a total of 9 members and it cottoned onto the name “FEEDBACK”. However after the first practice the band members dwindled down to 7 members as two of the initial members left. In the year 1977 the band renamed itself “THE HYPE” and it was at this crucial time that Dik Evans was phased out as he was too old for the band.
